Agape4Charity app for iPhone and iPad

Getting started is quite simple. Just download the app and create an account. Agape4Charity is currently based in Houston, although expansion is in the works.

From long term hospital internships to last minute food bank sign ups, Agape4Charity is here to assist you in all your volunteering endeavors. Agape4Charity is a necessity for anybody looking to volunteer around Houston. Agape4Charity assists users in finding organizations where they can complete volunteer hours either to fulfill a school requirement or as a recreational activity.

Faris Husain, a high school student, came up with this concept. He was instrumental in organizing, designing, and developing this app. Organizations are sorted in five different categories: Hospitals, Retirement Homes, Homeless Shelters, Animal Shelters, and Food Banks. The user will be able to see various information about the charities including their preferred ways of signing up, operating hours, addresses, contact information, phone numbers, websites, and any additional information required to volunteer there.

The app displays all the organizations chosen by the user along with a calendar to assist in the organization of volunteer opportunities that the user has registered for. After the user has completed a volunteer opportunity, the app will show a timeline to provide a way for users to keep track of their hours. Additionally, we have interfaces to all social media if the user wants to share any experience with their friends.
